Working with Universities and Research and Development Partnerships

The Porpardet (‘portable particle detective device’) project saw GSPK Design work with 11 other companies and universities to try find a solution to work deaths caused by Asbestos. Working with the likes of TWI, the Cyprus University of Technology and AM Trans Progres, the project was sponsored by the Seventh Framework Programme and was set up by the Research Executive Agency.

GSPK Design integrated the electronics into the project that controlled the laser and optics, power consumption, data collection, analysis and storage of the device. The device was targeted towards the manufacturing, construction, waste disposal and emergency services industries, while trying to remain cost effective.

GSPK Design are always looking out for opportunities to work with organisations and education.
